The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% POLYESTER and 18% ELASTANE. The solid printed color features green and light pink shades, with a CMYK ink content of 14 4 11 0. The secondary color, light rose green, is a soft and delicate tone characterized by its balance between green and pink. This color pairs especially well with cream, brown, grey, and white tones, creating a fresh and elegant look.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but rather the ink is applied after fabric manufacturing on a single face. The fabric has an elastic texture and a soft touch, is chlorine resistant, and boasts a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) of Very High UV Protection 50+.
Among the attributes of the base fabric are its versatility in applications and uses, making it ideal for lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, leotards, as well as swimwear and activewear. Additionally, the the fabric is timeless, making it perfect for use at any time of year.
It is important to note that the fabric should be washed at maximum temperatures of 40ºC and without bleach. It can be dry-cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is also recommended to iron the fabric with cool temperature and avoid tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which employs an ink transfer technique onto the fabric using a printer equipped with high-precision heads. The ink is transferred and converted into gas to then bond with the fabric, ensuring a durable and wear-resistant print.
