The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, made of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The solid printed color is Midnight Black with a CMYK of 72 65 75 84. This color is characterized by a nocturnal and intense hue that evokes elegance and mystery. It pairs perfectly with other dark colors such as grey, navy blue, or burgundy.
The fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means the color is printed directly onto the base fabric and not through dyeing. This provides great sharpness and definition in the print, while also preserving the elasticity of the Lycra.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic and chlorine-resistant texture, with a very high UV protection finish 50+. This fabric is ideal for use in lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, and fashion. Its elasticity allows it to adapt to the body comfortably and pleasantly, while its great resistance makes it ideal for garments of continuous use and contact with water.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and iron at a cool temperature. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process involves the transfer of inks by heat and pressure to the fabric surface, achieving deep color penetration into the fabric fibers and subsequent fixation, resulting in high durability over time.
