The base fabric is a polyester lycra called Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2. The plain printed color is an olive green with a CMYK of 44 33 93 18, reflecting a dark shade with a strong yellow presence. Additionally, it perfectly combines with earth tones and beige, thus complementing a natural and jungle style.
This fabric is digitally printed on one side with the plain color, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side, giving greater definition to the details and colors of the design.
The most notable characteristics of the base fabric are its texture, feel, and elasticity, in addition to being chlorine resistant and having a very high UV Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+. Nairobi lycra is a very versatile fabric that perfectly adapts to a wide variety of applications and uses, such as lingerie, swimwear, leggings, leotards, among others, giving a sporty, fresh, and modern touch to any outfit.
It should be noted that for its care, this fabric does not allow bleach, its maximum washing temperature is 40°C, it allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, ironing should be at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Regarding printing technology, Nairobi is printed using sublimation technique on polyester, which guarantees excellent color fixation and greater durability of the design, as the print is embedded in the fabric fibers. Thus, Nairobi lycra is an excellent option for those looking for a resistant, versatile fabric with a personalized and avant-garde design through digital textile printing.
