Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is a high-quality lycra fabric with a composition of 82% Polyester and 18% Elastane, a weight of 270 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a blue-green, with a CMYK of 82 31 22 5, reflecting a fresh and serene tone. This secondary blue ivy color is a hue that perfectly combines with other earthy and natural colors, such as brown, beige, or moss green. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which provides great definition and detail in the printed design.
This fabric is characterized by its soft and elastic texture, allowing great freedom of movement and adaptability to the body. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, ideal for making sportswear or swimwear. Nairobi can also be used for lingerie, bodysuits, or leggings due to its composition and elasticity.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and not to use a tumble dryer. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It is important to iron the fabric at a cool temperature to avoid damaging its elasticity.
Finally, the fabric is produced using sublimation printing technology (polyester), which consists of a process of transferring dry ink from transfer paper to the fabric surface, providing high quality in the definition and detail of the design printed on the fabric.
