Description

The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, 270 gr/m2, 150 cm wide, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The solid printed color is a beautiful Glacial Ice Blue, which is a blend of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black in a CMYK ratio of 87 45 18 4 respectively. This secondary color represents feelings of cold, calm, and tranquility, and pairs perfectly with neutral colors like grays and whites, as well as warm colors like golds and creams.

The fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means the design is printed directly onto the Polyester Lycra - Nairobi fabric with a special sublimation ink that penetrates the fibers to give a high-quality, long-lasting finish. The fabric is elastic, lightweight, and has a soft texture to the touch. Its finish is chlorine-resistant and has a very high UV Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, making it ideal for use in swimwear, sports tights and leggings, bikinis and swimsuits, lingerie, and sportswear in general.

Furthermore, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is timeless, meaning it can be used all year round, in both cold and warm climates, as it is breathable and quick-drying. In addition, the fabric features unique UV protection technology that ensures colors do not fade over time due to sun exposure.

It is important to note that for fabric care, it is recommended to wash in cold water and avoid bleaching and tumble drying.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a printing process in which ink is used to print a design onto a special paper transfer sheet, which is then placed over the fabric, and heat and pressure are applied to transfer the ink to the fabric. Sublimation ensures high-quality printing, durability, and wear resistance.
