Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The base fabric is a 270 gr/m2 Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, presented in a silk blue printed with a CMYK of 72 34 2 0, reflecting an intense and vibrant blue tone with a touch of magenta and a certain luminosity in the lighter part of the color.

The secondary color is a soft magenta that combines perfectly with the silk blue, providing greater depth and stability to the chromatic set. In addition, silk blue can also be combined very well with other shades of blue, turquoise, or aqua green.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on the surface, thus allowing for greater detail in designs and much more defined and precise colors.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, we can say that it is an elastic and chlorine-resistant fabric with a very high UV protection factor of 50+. In addition, it has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, which makes it a comfortable fabric to wear.

In terms of applications and uses, Nairobi is mainly used in the manufacture of lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights, leggings, and swimwear in general. Thanks to its elasticity and resistance, it adapts perfectly to the body, which makes it a very suitable fabric for swimwear and sportswear.

Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, iron at a cold temperature, and do not tumble dry. In addition, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a printing technique in which colors are impregnated into the fabric fibers through heat and pressure, which guarantees great durability and quality in the printed color.
