The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm and a weight suitable for different applications, such as lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, leggings, leotards, and bikinis. The solid printed color is a dark slate blue, whose attributes are: Cyan Ink: 100, Magenta Ink: 86, Yellow Ink: 38, Black Ink: 31, and CMYK: 100 86 38 31. It combines especially well with gray, silver, or white tones and brings elegance, serenity, and sophistication to any garment.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the image is printed directly onto the fabric using special inks that adhere to the fabric durably and are resistant to washing. The base fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has very high UV protection 50+, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear. In addition, it has a soft texture and finish, and excellent recovery capacity after being stretched.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, leggings, leotards, and bikinis stand out, being an ideal fabric for close-fitting garments that require good support and adaptability to the body. Furthermore, thanks to its high resistance and UV protection, it is also used in garments that require high performance in outdoor environments.
It is important to consider some specific care instructions to maintain the quality of the fabric, such as avoiding bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. These recommendations ensure a longer lifespan for the fabric and maintain the characteristics that make it ideal for use in sportswear and swimwear.
Polyester sublimation printing technology is used for the manufacturing of this fabric, a process in which the inks used turn into gas when heated, penetrating the fibers of the fabric and creating a permanent and durable image. This ensures a precise and personalized finish, with high image resolution and great color quality, allowing for precise and visually impactful designs in the final garment.
