The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra with a grammage of 270 gr/m2 called Nairobi, in a plain solid color "Lobo Grey", whose CMYK is 59 49 45 36. This color is described as a cool, sophisticated shade of grey with a subtle and muted chromatic intensity. It pairs particularly well with darker grey tones, dark blues, and moss green hues.
It is important to note that this fabric is designed to be printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The base fabric is defined by its soft texture, elastic feel, and chlorine resistance. Additionally, it has a high UV protection factor (UPF) of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
Applications and uses for the fabric include lingerie, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and sports leotards, as well as general swimwear and general fashion apparel. These applications have been selected due to the base fabrics attributes, such as its elasticity and water resistance, which make it perfect for these types of garments.
It is important to consider the fabric care instructions for proper maintenance, avoiding bleaching and washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry-cleaned, but not with trichloroethylene, ironed at a cool temperature, and cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality and durable printing without damaging the base fabric.
