This fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, 190 gr/m2, printed in a solid white color with touches of SeaShell, with ink quantities of 7 Cyan, 9 Magenta, 11 Yellow, and 0 Black in its CMYK representation. The color is one of the attractions of this fabric, with a design that contrasts with traditional fashion colors; it is soft and pleasing to the eye. SeaShell is a pastel color that evokes purity and delicacy. This color combines well with other pastel tones such as pale pink or sky blue.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing. The base fabric is a Lycra composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, which makes it elastic, soft to the touch, and chlorine-resistant. It has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. It also has GRS certification, which guarantees that it is a sustainable and recycled product.
The applications and uses of this fabric extend to various areas, from hair ties and scrunchies to swimwear such as bikinis and sports swimsuits. It is also suitable for swimwear fashion due to its chlorine resistance and UV protection. In addition, it can be used for other items such as phone cases, bags, or backpacks.
Recommendations for fabric care are important to maintain the materials properties. Do not bleach, maximum wash at 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a printing process that uses special inks that turn into vapor when heat and pressure are applied to the fabric, penetrating its fibers and creating a durable and vibrant print. This process is carried out using a high-quality printer that prints on special paper, which in turn transfers the image to the fabric through heat. This printing method is ideal for stamping complex designs on a wide variety of fabrics and is widely used in sportswear and beachwear due to its durability and high image quality.
