The base fabric, Recycled Lycra - Recycled, 190 gr/m2, is a type of lycra made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is mouse grey with a CMYK of 34 24 21 3, reflecting a balanced combination of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. This secondary color is characterized by being sober, serene, and elegant. It combines very well with other shades of grey, white, black, petrol green, or navy blue.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, elasticity, chlorine resistance, and very high UV protection factor 50+. In addition, this fabric complies with GRS certification and is sustainable as it is recycled.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are scrunchies, sports bikinis and swimsuits, fashion swimsuits. Its elastic properties and chlorine resistance make it a good option for durable and comfortable swimwear and sportswear.
For its care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, without dry cleaning and ironing at a cold temperature. Also, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is used to print high-quality and durable images on polyester fabrics. This is achieved by transferring ink from paper to fabric through heat and pressure, which makes the colors permanently set into the fabric.
