Recycled Lycra - Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, is a soft and elastic fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Biscuit Yellow-Brown, with CMYK values of 26 27 98 8, and it pairs well with colors such as white, black, gray, and olive green. It is important to note that, although the base fabric is plain, it is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its soft and elastic texture, as well as its chlorine-resistant finish and UV protection (very high UPF 50+). Additionally, this recycled fabric is GRS certified, ensuring its sustainability. In terms of applications and uses, besides being suitable for hair ties, scrunchies, and swimwear (bikinis and swimsuits), it is also ideal for making sportswear and general swimwear due to its elasticity.
It is important to care for the Recycled Lycra - Recycled to maintain its quality, so it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C and not bleached; the garment does not allow dry cleaning, iron at a cool temperature, and cannot be tumble dried. Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester, which allows for a sharp and durable reproduction of the printed design on the fabric.
