The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, weighing 190 gr/m2, with a composition of 85% POLYESTER and 15% ELASTANE, and a width of 150 cm. The printed color is a deep pink-mauve shade, with a cyan ink of 22, magenta ink of 46, yellow ink of 11, and black ink of 0, corresponding to a CMYK of 22 46 11 0. This color symbolizes empathy and satisfaction, and technically, its softness and elasticity are appreciated. This color combines very well with grays, greens, and neutral tones. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, and it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness, elasticity, and chlorine resistance, as well as its high UV protection factor, with very high UV protection 50+. Therefore, it is a suitable fabric for swimwear and sportswear, and also for fashion garments such as swimsuits. In addition, this fabric is certified as sustainable, and its printing technology is sublimation (polyester).
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to its use in swimwear, it can be highlighted for making scrunchies and hair ties, and also for making sports swimsuits and bikinis. It should be noted that this type of fabric is suitable for body-hugging garments, as its elasticity and softness ensure user comfort.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry. It is important to follow these recommendations to ensure the durability and properties of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a digital printing process that is performed on a sheet of paper and transferred to the fabric using a heat press. This process ensures high resistance and durability of the printed color, as well as great definition and sharpness in the details.
