Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its solid printed color is a vibrant Banana Yellow, achieved through sublimation printing technology, using 20% Cyan ink, 9% Magenta ink, 96% Yellow ink, and 1% Black ink.

This secondary color is a perfect blend of yellow and light brown, resulting in a very warm and inviting hue. When combined with other colors like white or gray, it becomes a very versatile option for both sports and fashion.

The base fabric is a high-quality, resistant Lycra that offers a soft and elastic texture, ideal for swimwear and sportswear. Furthermore, the solid printed color is chlorine-resistant and boasts a very high sun protection factor (UPF) of 50+, making it an excellent choice for swimwear and sportswear requiring greater sun protection.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are the creation of scrunchies, as well as the manufacturing of bikinis and swimsuits for sports and fashion. Additionally, its recyclable composition makes it a sustainable option, a characteristic reinforced by GRS certification.

Regarding the care this fabric should receive, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid bleaching and dry cleaning. Likewise, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying should be avoided.

Sublimation printing technology is a process through which a digital image is transferred to fabric by heat. In this case, this technology has been used for printing the solid Banana Yellow color on one side. It is worth noting that this fabric is not dyed, but digitally printed, which ensures greater sharpness and quality in the final result.
