The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, a weight of 190 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a combination of green and cream, with a cyan ink content of 9, magenta ink of 1, yellow ink of 33, and black ink of 0, resulting in a CMYK of 9 1 33 0. The secondary color, cream, creates a soft and relaxing tone that complements lower-range colors such as grey and pastel shades.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but digitally printed. The fabrics texture is soft and elastic, giving it great stretchability and chlorine resistance. It also has a UV protection factor of 50+.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are varied, including hair ties, scrunchies, sports bikinis and swimsuits, as well as fashion swimwear. This type of fabric is perfect for swimwear due to its stretchability and chlorine resistance. It can also be used for sports apparel and accessories such as headbands and scarves.
Regarding care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to machine wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean. It is recommended to iron at a cool temperature and avoid using a tumble dryer.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves transferring inks through heat and pressure from a specialized printer. This allows for sharp and durable printing that does not fade or peel with use and washing. It is an environmentally friendly technology widely used in the manufacturing of sports fabrics and swimwear.
