The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric, weighing 190 gr/m2, is a lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a grammage of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The main color of the fabric is a deep Teal Green, indicated by a CMYK of 92 44 69 54. It is a rich and vibrant color, achieved by combining cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. The secondary color has a strong presence of cyan and yellow inks, with a touch of magenta, giving it an intense greenish quality. It is a very sophisticated color that combines perfectly with neutral tones such as black, gray, or white, but can also be combined with reddish, pinkish, or orange tones to add energy and vitality.
The fabric is printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing. Digital printing allows for great precision in detail reproduction and color saturation, and is a very fast and efficient technique. This fabric has a soft and elastic texture, characteristic of lycra, and has a chlorine-resistant finish with very high UV protection of 50+. It is a versatile fabric, ideal for a wide variety of applications, such as hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits, and swimwear.
Regarding care, this fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it should not be tumble dried to avoid damage.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester. This process involves using a specialized inkjet printer to print on transfer paper with sublimation inks. Then, the transfer paper is placed in contact with the fabric and subjected to high temperature and pressure to transfer the design to the fabric. This process allows for high precision and color fidelity, and is especially suitable for polyester fabrics such as this Recycled Lycra - Recycled.
