Description

The Recycled Lycra base fabric is a lycra composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed plain color is a blue-green tone, with a Cyam ink content of 80, Magenta ink of 26, Yellow ink of 12, and Black ink of 1, which translates to a CMYK of 80 26 12 1. This blue-green color is fresh and modern, combining well with tones such as white, black, grey, and pink.

The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the reverse side of the fabric is white. In terms of its characteristics, the base fabric is soft to the touch, elastic, and chlorine-resistant, perfect for use in swimwear and sportswear. Additionally, it has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, ideal for use in summer garments.

The most common applications and uses for this fabric are for making bikinis, swimsuits, and scrunchies, although it can also be used for other fashion and sports garments. Its season is timeless, meaning it can be used throughout the year.

Regarding the care instructions to maintain the quality of this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and dry cleaning, as well as using a maximum washing temperature of 40°C and ironing it at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for vibrant and long-lasting colors. During the sublimation process, the ink turns into gas and binds with the fabric fibers, creating a high-quality and highly resistant image.
