The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, in a solid Iceberg Blue color with a CMYK of 52 18 2 0. This color represents the freshness of glaciers and icy air. Symbolically, blue is associated with purity, tranquility, and harmony. It is a secondary color that pairs well with other shades of blue, as well as with colors like white, grey, and some shades of pink and purple.
Its important to note that the fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which allows for designs with great definition and resolution, regardless of image complexity.
General characteristics of the fabric include a soft and elastic texture, and a chlorine-resistant finish with very high UV protection 50+. These features make the fabric ideal for swimwear and sportswear, as well as accessories like hair ties and scrunchies. Furthermore, being a recycled fabric certified by GRS, its production is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Regarding fabric care, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironed at a cool temperature. Bleaching or dry cleaning is not recommended, and it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves printing the image onto special paper and transferring it to the fabric through heat and pressure. This ensures high image quality and detail in the design, and it is also an environmentally friendly technique as it uses fully recyclable inks.
