The base fabric, Recycled Lycra, is a lycra composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is a Wolf Grey with a CMYK of 59 49 45 36. This secondary color symbolizes intelligence, solidity, and stability. In terms of technique, it is digitally printed on one side only, without being dyed. It is a color that complements well with whites, blacks, and navy blues.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its soft and elastic texture, with chlorine resistance and a very high UV Protection Factor of 50+. On the other hand, the printed color has a uniform tone and good fixation. This fabric is ideal for sports applications, such as bikinis and swimsuits, and is also used in swimwear fashion for making swim trunks. In addition, it is sustainable and has GRS certification.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach it, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and iron at a low temperature, not allowing dry cleaning or tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. It consists of transferring ink to sublimation paper and then to the fabric through high-temperature and pressure pressing, achieving high quality and a durable printing result.
