The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its solid printed color is Goose Grey with a CMYK of 18 15 16 0. This secondary color symbolizes elegance and sophistication, and technically it is characterized by having a neutral tone as a mix of white and black, with a touch of warm brown. It combines especially well with vibrant colors such as orange, yellow, and green, to provide contrast and energy. It should be noted that this fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the solid color is present only on one side.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it stands out for its softness and elasticity, thanks to its composition and special treatment. It is also chlorine resistant and has very high UV protection 50+, ideal for use in swimwear and sportswear. Additionally, it has GRS certification and is sustainable, as it is made with recycled materials, contributing to environmental preservation.

Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, it excels in the production of swimsuits and bikinis, thanks to its chlorine resistance and UV protection. It can also be used in the manufacture of hair ties and scrunchies, due to its elasticity and softness.

As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not use bleach, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature to ensure the fabric is not damaged.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for color fixation on the fabric and guarantees high quality and durability. With this technique, a special ink is printed on transfer paper, which is then deposited onto the fabric with heat and pressure, obtaining an optimal and precise result.
