The base fabric is a Recycled Lycra of 230 gr/m2 with a composition of 75% POLYESTER and 25% ELASTANE, with a width of 150 cm and a grammage that makes it suitable for the creation of sportswear, swimwear, and lingerie. The solid color printed is an Aqua Gray obtained by using the main inks Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow in a proportion of 12, 6, and 5 respectively, without the use of Black ink. This color particularly combines with blue and green shades.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that a printing technique is used in which the design is printed directly onto the fabric, on one side and digitally.
The characteristics of the base fabric are varied, as it is a Recycled Lycra that has a soft and pleasant touch and is very elastic, which makes it a very comfortable and chlorine-resistant fabric. It also offers a very high UV protection factor of 50+ and is wrinkle-resistant. The printed color features a soft and subtle color palette, ideal for creating sportswear and swimwear.
The wide variety of applications and uses of this fabric include the creation of lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and leotards. In addition, it is a timeless and sustainable fabric, certified as such by GRS. It is important to note that, due to its nature, this fabric is suitable for the creation of garments for women, men, and children.
The care for this fabric is simple and should be taken into account to extend its useful life. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean or tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This is a technique in which a special ink is used that turns into gas at high temperatures and adheres to the fabric, providing an intense and long-lasting color. In this way, a uniform and high-quality finish is achieved, which does not fade with use and washing.
