The base fabric is a Recycled Lycra - Seal weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an intense orange, also known as Basketball Orange, obtained from the combination of CMYK inks (15 59 100 4). This color, symbolically, conveys energy, fun, vitality, and enthusiasm. From a technical point of view, it is a very vibrant and bright color that combines very well with blues, greens, and browns.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the image is printed directly onto the fabric through a sublimation process. This is a process where inks turn into gas when heated and fix onto the fabric fibers, ensuring high print quality and durability.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric is elastic and has a soft, pleasant feel against the skin, making it ideal for manufacturing sportswear, swimwear, lingerie, and general fashion. Additionally, it features a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 50+, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Its applications and uses include sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights or leggings, and bodysuits. Moreover, thanks to the combination of bright and vibrant colors, it can also be used in crafting fashion garments, perfect for a summer look.
As for fabric care, it is important to note that it cannot be bleached, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a cool temperature. Also, it should not be tumble dried.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation is a technique that allows printing full-color, high-quality designs on any type of fabric, ensuring that colors last longer and remain bright and vibrant. This is because the inks meld into the fabric fibers, making the image unalterable and resistant to washing and use.
