The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% POLYESTER and 25% ELASTANE, with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an olive green tone with a CMYK of 40 35 100 20. This color has a symbolic character representing the freshness of nature and vital energy. Technically, its tone tends to lean more towards green than yellow, which gives it a natural and harmonious look. It is an intense secondary color that combines well with other natural tones such as brown, beige, and orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the design is printed directly onto the fabric surface, without an ink layer on top. This results in a fabric with excellent image quality and great resistance to wear and washing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic texture with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Additionally, this fabric has GRS certification and its production process is sustainable as it is a recycled fabric.
Regarding the applications or uses of the fabric, it can be used in garments such as lingerie, bodysuits, bikinis, swimsuits, tights, and leggings, as well as in leotards for sports. Due to its chlorine resistance and UV protection, it can also be used for sports garments that require greater durability and sun protection.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to consider certain care instructions such as not bleaching the fabric, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not dry cleaning or tumble drying, and ironing it at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the ink to the fabric using heat and pressure so that the ink adheres permanently to the fabric and does not come off with use or washing. This allows for high image quality and a long-lasting result.
