Recycled Lycra - Seal 230 gr/m2

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal of 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is Biscuit Brown Yellow, with a CMYK of 21 38 93 9. This secondary color provides a warm and natural tone, symbolizing earth and nature. Yellow represents the sun and light, while Biscuit Brown adds a touch of elegance and sobriety. It combines especially well with neutral tones such as white, black, and gray, as well as with brown and reddish tones.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. This technique allows for a high-quality result, with a durable finish resistant to washing and wear.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic and chlorine-resistant texture, with a very high UV protection factor of 50+. In addition, it has GRS certification, which guarantees its sustainable and recycled nature. As for the plain printed color, its matte finish and resistance to fading stand out.

Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, it is ideal for lingerie, sportswear and swimwear, such as swimsuits, bikinis, tights and leggings, as well as for making leotards. It can also be used in swimwear fashion, being a timeless and versatile fabric.

It is important to consider the care of the fabric, which should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment should not be dry cleaned or tumble dried, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the ink on transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows for the printing of complex designs, with great sharpness and vibrancy of colors, in addition to being environmentally friendly by using water-based inks.
