The base fabric for this material is recycled Lycra Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a fabric width of 150 cm. The fabric is Sandstone Brown, with a CMYK of 43 37 47 20, these being the percentages of ink used in the subsequent digital textile printing. The secondary color is characterized by its warm and natural tone, conveying a message of tranquility and serenity, ideal for lingerie, swimwear, and summer fashion collections. It combines well with ecru and earthy tones (beige, sand, camel, hazelnut...) and also with pastel colors.
It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is a printed fabric, not dyed, where the design is applied only once to the surface of the textile.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic texture, soft touch, and chlorine-resistant finish. It also has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which protects against the suns most harmful rays. Regarding the printed color, it is characterized by its faithful reproduction thanks to digital textile printing technology.
In terms of applications and uses, recycled Lycra Seal 230 gr/m2 is a perfect fabric for lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, and leotards, in addition to being a timeless textile. Furthermore, its GRS sustainable validity communicates a message of respect for the environment to the user.
The care instructions for this type of fabric are: do not bleach, use a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of adding a pattern or design using a printer that injects ink onto special paper, which is then placed on the surface of the base fabric at a very high temperature. The ink merges with the fabric fibers and turns into a gas that penetrates it, thus obtaining a high-quality finish with accurate and durable color fidelity.
