The base fabric for this particular product is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, an elastic fabric composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. Its grammage is 230 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm, providing great versatility in its application. The plain color printed on this fabric is Acid Green, which consists of 29% cyan ink, 3% magenta ink, 86% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, resulting in a CMYK value of 29 3 86 0.
This acid green shade is a very vibrant, intense, and striking color that evokes the freshness of newly germinated leaves in nature. This secondary shade of green perfectly complements other colors, such as black and white for a striking contrast, and with more subdued tones like gray, beige, and brown for a softer and more elegant contrast.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the image or design is printed directly onto the fabric surface.
This fabric is characterized by being elastic, with a soft feel and chlorine resistance. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it an excellent option for sportswear and swimwear. Its application is very varied and versatile, including lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, and leggings. Furthermore, this fabric is GRS (Global Recycling Standard) certified and meets sustainability standards as it is made from recycled fibers.
It is important to note that Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric, weighing 230 gr/m2, requires specific care, such as not using bleach, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and ironing at a low temperature. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried. To ensure that the fabric maintains its elastic properties and original shape, it is advisable not to wring it during the washing process.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that allows for the permanent transfer of high-quality images or designs onto the fabric surface. This is achieved through the combination of dye and temperature, which causes the ink to turn into gas and penetrate the fabric fibers, resulting in a print resistant to wear and washing.
