The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% Polyester and 25% Elastane. The solid printed color is a soft mint green with a CMYK of 59 13 35 1, reflecting the predominant presence of cyan and magenta ink. This secondary color evokes nature, freshness, and tranquility, and pairs very well with other green tones, whites, creams, pinks, and beige.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing. This means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side. Furthermore, Recycled Lycra - Seal is a textured, elastic fabric with a chlorine-resistant finish, and boasts very high UV protection 50+.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits and bikinis, as well as leotards and leggings for women, men, and children. Additionally, this type of fabric is also used in swimwear fashion due to its resistance and flexibility.
An essential aspect to consider are the fabric care instructions. It should not be bleached or dry cleaned. The maximum allowed temperature is 40ºC, it should be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This digital textile printing process uses special inks that transform into gas when exposed to heat and pressure, producing durable and intense colors on the fabric.
