The base fabric is Recycled Sportswear Polyester - Basic, composed of 93% polyester and 7% elastomer, with a weight of 145 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm. It has GRS certification and is sustainable thanks to its recycled composition. The plain printed color is sun yellow, with a CMYK content of 6 11 58 0. This color resembles the luminosity of the sun and evokes energy and vitality. It combines harmoniously with blue, green, and gray tones, which gives it great versatility. The base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, resulting in a precise and sharp finish.
Regarding the general characteristics, the base fabric has a soft and smooth texture to the touch, which makes it ideal for sportswear and swimwear. In addition, its composition makes it highly resistant to abrasion and deformation, which makes it perfect for garments that require intensive and continuous use. The plain printed color, for its part, presents great definition and color accuracy, which makes it ideal for printing any design or pattern on the fabric.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are wide and varied. It is ideal for sportswear such as shirts, Bermuda shorts, and swimsuits, for women, men, and children. In addition, its versatility means that it can also be used in other types of garments such as pants, skirts, and summer dresses. Its durability and resistance make it perfect for garments used in outdoor activities or water sports.
The care that must be taken for this fabric is simple but important. It should not be bleached and should be washed in cold water with a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it should not be tumble dried, as it can deform.
As for printing technology, the base fabric is printed by sublimation (polyester), which allows colors to integrate homogeneously into the fabric, reproducing the design or pattern with great precision. This printing technology is high quality and guarantees that the printed design will last over time and will not degrade with use or washes.
