The base fabric is Recycled Sportswear Polyester - Basic, with a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastomer, and a weight of 145 gr/m2. Its width is 145 cm, and its solid printed color is Soft White-Ivory, with a CMYK of 1 1 9 0. This secondary color is soft and warm, ideal for creating relaxing and wellness environments. It combines especially well with yellow, orange, and pink tones, creating cheerful and youthful color palettes. It is worth noting that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the design is very sharp and defined, and that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its very soft and smooth texture and feel, which makes it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, it is a recycled and sustainable fabric, showing a commitment to the environment. As for the printed color, its softness and luminosity are its main advantages, being an ideal shade for creating sportswear and swimwear.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the making of sportswear for men, women, and children, shorts, and shirts, ideal for outdoor activities and water sports. Its light and soft fabric also makes it suitable for making swimwear, such as bikinis or swimsuits.
As for care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Also, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and cannot be tumble dried.
It is worth mentioning that the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, a process in which the ink adheres to the fabric through heat and pressure, creating a sharp image with high resolution. This technique is ideal for printing complex images and vivid and bright colors.
