The base fabric, Organic Cotton Poplin - Verona, is a 100% organic cotton poplin with a weight of 110 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a sun yellow, which is obtained thanks to the cyan (3), magenta (1) and yellow (29) inks of the CMYK. This color symbolizes energy, happiness, and creativity, and combines perfectly with other vibrant colors such as pink, green, and blue. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with this solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed exclusively on one side.
The general characteristics of this base fabric are its softness and rigidity to the touch. As for the solid printed color, its tone is uniform without losing its brightness and vividness once it has been stamped on the fabric. This fabric is suitable for use in fashion garments, particularly in shirts, dresses, blouses and even in childrens fashion for the summer season. Its GOTS - ORGANIC CU1016503 certification demonstrates its commitment to the environment and its appreciation for the use of organically sustainable materials.
For the care of the fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC without bleaches, iron it at a cool temperature and avoid the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is REACTIVE DIGITAL DIRECT, specially designed for natural fibers. This printing technique uses textile inks that penetrate the cotton fibers of the fabric, resulting in a bright and wear-resistant color. This printing technique is more sustainable than other conventional printing techniques, as it produces less waste and reduces energy consumption.
