Organic Cotton Poplin - Verona

The base fabric is an Organic Cotton Poplin - Verona, weighing 110 gr/m2 and 150 cm wide, GOTS-certified as sustainable and suitable for use in womens and mens garments, especially shirts, dresses, blouses, and childrens clothing. The chosen solid printed color is Banana Yellow, obtained through digital textile printing with 13% cyan ink, 1% magenta ink, 70% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, achieving a vibrant and cheerful shade. This secondary color is characterized by conveying energy, vitality, and optimism, perfectly combining with colors such as white, gray, blue, and green.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only, which should be considered when designing the garment. Regarding its general characteristics, we can mention that the fabric has a soft and rigid texture to the touch, making it comfortable and resistant. Likewise, the organic cotton from which the fabric is made adds value in terms of sustainability and respect for the environment.

As for the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be highlighted in womens and mens fashion garments, both in their childrens and adult versions. In addition to the aforementioned garments, this fabric is ideal for making skirts, shorts, and pants, as well as for creating accessories such as bags and backpacks.

For the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at maximum temperatures of 30ºC, allowing dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene) and cold ironing. It is also possible to tumble dry at a reduced temperature, which facilitates its maintenance and prolongs its useful life.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive direct digital for natural fibers, which allows for precise and detailed printing of designs, as well as perfect color fixation on the fabric. This printing technique is environmentally friendly, as it does not use aggressive chemicals or generate toxic waste.
