The base fabric is an organic cotton poplin called Verona. Its plain printed color is SeaGreen: it has a CMYK of 84 19 82 4 and is printed on one side by digital textile printing. The color green symbolizes nature, harmony, and tranquility. In technical terms, this color is produced using high amounts of cyan and yellow, resulting in the color intensity we see. It combines well with neutral colors like grey and beige, as well as brighter tones like fuchsia and orange.
The base fabric has a weight of 110 gr/m2, a composition of 100% organic cotton, and a width of 150 cm. Its texture and feel are soft and stiff, giving it body but also a comfortable feel against the skin. Its attributes include softness and resistance, making it ideal for summer garments such as shirts, dresses, and blouses for both men and women, as well as for childrens fashion. In addition, it is GOTS certified (Organic CU1016503) and sustainable, as it is produced without pesticides or harmful chemicals for the environment.
Regarding its care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at low temperature. It can also be tumble dried at low temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive direct digital for natural fibers, which allows the design to be printed directly onto the fabric without the need to add additional dyes or colorants. This implies greater precision in details and a reduction in resource use, making it more sustainable.
