Stretch Knit Crepe - Riga

The base fabric is Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color has a burnt red and pink hue, with a ink mixture of Cyan 30, Magenta 95, Yellow 33, and Black 24, reflecting a CMYK 30 95 33 24. The secondary color provides a passionate and energetic vibrancy that radiates a warm sensation. It pairs perfectly with neutral colors, such as white and black, to add a touch of energy and vitality to a softer palette.

This fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for astonishing quality and detail in the printed design. The base fabric has an elastic and grainy texture, making it especially suitable for form-fitting garments. The combination of texture and elasticity provides a comfortable and snug fit, ideal for garments like dresses, blouses, jackets, and pants.

Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use bleach. Additionally, it is suitable for dry cleaning, but trichloroethylene should be avoided in the process. Iron at low temperatures and avoid tumble drying at high temperatures.

The fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology, where a thermal transfer process is used to fix the ink pigments onto the fabric. The ink turns into vapor when exposed to extreme heat, then it is printed on the fabric, and calenders are used to transfer the colors to the fabric. This produces a durable and high-quality finish that will withstand multiple washes and daily wear.
