The base fabric is Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, in a solid Spicy Red Pepper color. Its CMYK is 16 93 100 7, which indicates a warm tone with a predominance of magenta and yellow, and touches of cyan and black for depth. It combines very well with neutral colors such as black, white, gray, and beige, as well as with dark green and blue tones for contrast. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it has a matte and porous finish on the printed side.
The base fabric is very versatile, with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, making it elastic and comfortable to the touch. Its weight of 180 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm give it a granular texture and a good drape for fluid garments. As for the solid color, its Spicy Pepper tone is quite vivid and vibrant, with a silky and elastic texture. It stands out for its ability to bring energy and vitality to any design, ideal for womens and youth fashion garments.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, it adapts very well to womens and mens fashion garments, such as dresses, skirts, pants, t-shirts, tops, jumpsuits, cardigans, and knitwear. Its use as a base fabric extends to all seasons as it is timeless and its comfortable structure is suitable for any time of year.
As for the care of the fabric, it is important to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, and iron it at a cool temperature. Likewise, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, although it is recommended not to do so excessively to avoid deteriorating its elasticity. If dry cleaning is desired, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided so as not to damage the fabrics texture.
Finally, the fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (Polyester), which consists of printing with a special printer using liquid ink through the sublimation of the ink with heat and in complete contact with the fabric surface. This process allows for a sharp and durable finish that resists high temperatures and does not fade easily. It is an environmentally friendly technique as it does not generate harmful emissions.
