This base fabric is known as Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga and is composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. The fabrics weight is 180 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a beautiful olive green shade, which is composed of a mix of cyan ink at 40%, magenta at 35%, yellow at 100%, and black at 20%, resulting in a CMYK of 40 35 100 20. This color evokes nature, calm, and serenity, and pairs perfectly with earthy tones, gold, and silver.
The fabrics texture is elastic and granular to the touch, meaning it adapts perfectly to the body and offers a slightly rough appearance. The printed solid color exhibits high quality, thanks to the textile digital printing technique used, which allows for exceptional precision and detail in the design. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only, meaning the back of the fabric appears white.
In terms of applications, this fabric is suitable for making a wide variety of garments, for both women and men. For example, it can be used for dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. It is a versatile fabric that adapts to any style and occasion thanks to its elastic and granular texture.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, we recommend not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and ironing it at a cool temperature. Additionally, this fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature and can be dry cleaned, except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This digital textile printing process uses heat and pressure to transfer ink in a gaseous state directly into the polyester fibers of the fabric, creating a high-quality and durable image. Sublimation is a sustainable and ecological printing technique, as very little water and energy are used in its execution, and it does not produce any toxic waste.
