The base fabric is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is OliveDrab, with a CMYK of 62 24 98 8. This color is a dark, muted green tone, with a connotation of stability and confidence. It combines well with earth tones and neutrals like beige, brown, or gray, as well as brighter tones like mustard yellow or burgundy.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the ink is applied directly to the surface of the fabric. In terms of general characteristics, the base fabric stands out for having an elastic and granulated texture to the touch, making it comfortable and pleasant in contact with the skin. Furthermore, it is a versatile fabric suitable for multiple applications such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. As for the printed color OliveDrab, its granularity adds depth and richness to the color.
It is important to consider the care of this base fabric: it should not be bleached, and the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. It can be ironed at a cool temperature, tumble dried at a reduced temperature, and dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is a printing technique where the ink turns into gas and penetrates the polyester fibers. This results in the fabric being printed with high detail quality and a wide range of colors, which remain intact with use and washing.
