The base fabric is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, a crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a medium teal green, which is reflected in the CMYK content of the color: 88 36 53 30. This color is characterized by being refreshing and calm, bringing a touch of serenity. It combines especially well with white, cream, gray, and dusty pink.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which differentiates it from dyed fabrics. Therefore, the opposite side will be a natural white color of the base fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, the base fabric is elastic to the touch, which makes it very comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a granulated texture that gives it an elegant appearance. On the other hand, the printed medium teal green color provides a smooth texture but with certain movement, which is visualized with greater intensity depending on the light and the position from which it is viewed.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, womens and mens fashion stand out, specifically in dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear in general. This type of fabric offers various options to designers due to its versatility, so it is also used in other sectors besides fashion.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying ink on sublimatic transfer paper and pressing it onto the fabric at high temperature, thus achieving a transfer of color that penetrates the fibers of the fabric. This process guarantees high definition and a wide variety of colors in the printed design.
