The base fabric of this textile is the Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga in white. The solid color printed is an Ivy Blue with a CMYK of 80 26 12 1, which gives it a greenish blue and fresh tone. This color complements especially well with light mint green and cream tones. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing.
The base fabric has a grainy texture and an elastic feel that makes it comfortable and versatile. The fabric has a weight of 180 gr/m2 and is composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane which give it its elasticity and durability. In addition, its width of 150 cm and its ability to adapt to different curves and body shapes make it ideal for high-end garments. The solid printed color provides a unique brilliance and personality to the base fabric, making it stand out in any context.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are varied and wide, with a particular focus on feminine and masculine garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans and knitwear. The combination of shiny and crepe fabric makes this fabric especially useful for elegant and sophisticated garments. Apart from the garments already mentioned, it could also be used in upholstery, curtains and other interior design projects.
To properly care for this type of fabric, it is advised not to bleach it and to keep it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, with dry cleaning allowed except for trichloroethylene. If you wish to iron it, it should be done at a cool temperature and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The fabric is printed with sublimation technology, which allows the printed color to be incorporated in a durable way without losing quality. This printing technology is carried out by vaporizing a solid ink material, which, when solidified, binds to the fabric material through fiber. In this way, the color remains on the surface of the fabric without fading or cracking.
