The base fabric of this knit is Elastic Point Crepe - Riga, with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, and a weight of 180 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and its solid color is a beautiful Glacial Ice Blue, which can be replicated by digital textile printers by combining cyan (89%), magenta (46%), yellow (32%) and black (17%) inks in the sublimation process. This shade of blue is described as fresh, luminous and crystalline, evoking a sense of purity and serenity, and combines especially well with other blue tones such as cobalt, navy and turquoise.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees high resolution, precision in details and excellent color fidelity. The base fabric is elastic, and has a pleasant grainy texture and a soft, silky feel. In addition, it offers good abrasion resistance and is easy to work with in sewing, making it a very versatile choice for garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans and knitwear in general.
Regarding care, this fabric can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and can be tumble dried at low temperature. It is also suitable for dry cleaning (except if trichloroethylene is used) and ironing at low temperature is recommended.
Finally, it should be noted that this fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology, which involves first printing the ink onto special transfer paper and then transferring this ink to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process makes the colors more vibrant and resistant to fading, and allows complex, photographic and colorful graphic designs to be printed with great precision and detail.
