The base fabric Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga is characterized by being an elastic crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain color printed in a Glacial Ice Blue tone is described by a CMYK of 87 45 18 4. This color is characterized by being very soft and fresh, evoking the sensation of being in front of a snowy landscape on a winter afternoon. The color itself is very versatile, but it combines perfectly with dark brown and burnt red tones, which produces a feeling of warmth and comfort in any garment made with this type of fabric. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric and its plain printed color, it can be said that the texture and feel are elastic and grainy at the same time, which makes it very pleasant to the touch. It is important to note that this fabric is very versatile, offering multiple applications and uses. For example, it can be used in womens and mens fashion for dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. In addition, it is a timeless fabric that can be used in any season.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry clean except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is called sublimation (polyester). This printing process allows the color printed on the fabric to remain fixed and not fade over time, so the garment made will maintain its appearance for a long time.
