Cotton Touch Jersey Knit - Athens

The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas is a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is in shades of ecru and tan, with a CMYK of 15 20 36 2, where yellow ink is predominant. This color is symbolically warm and inviting, associated with earth, nature, and comfort. It pairs especially well with brown, orange, green, and blue colors.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design does not penetrate the fabric but is printed on the surface. This printing process allows for great precision in details and high color definition.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are soft to the touch and elastic, making it ideal for comfortable and fitted garments. Additionally, it shows good resistance to wear and deformation, making it a durable fabric. The attributes of the fabric allow its use in both womens and mens fashion, as well as in accessories and home textiles, from blankets for the living room or bedroom, to napkins or socks.

Regarding care, the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and should not be bleached or tumble dried. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a cool temperature to avoid damage to the fibers.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves the transfer of color from a printed image to the fabric through vaporization and subsequent solidification. This printing process is especially suitable for polyester fabrics, as the color is fixed to the fiber through a chemical reaction.
