The base fabric of this textile is the Cotton Touch Jersey Knit - Athens, composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a vibrant Garnet Red, represented by a CMYK value of 23 100 58 18. Garnet is a deep and elegant shade that evokes passion, creativity, and vital energy. This color can be perfectly combined with other dark tones such as black, gray, or navy blue, as well as with light shades such as white, cream, or beige.
It should be noted that this fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, meaning that the ink penetrates the fabric fibers without altering its soft and elastic feel. Regarding its general characteristics, we can highlight the soft and elastic texture of the base fabric, which makes it ideal for knitwear such as jerseys, tops, dresses, or cardigans. Furthermore, its polyester and elastane composition provides high resistance and durability, making it a perfect choice for everyday wear.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, it can be used for manufacturing accessories such as socks, scarves, or shawls. Moreover, its use in making home blankets for both the living room and bedroom, or as napkins in the dining room, makes this fabric versatile and practical in its use.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, it should not be bleached, it cannot be tumble-dried, and it is advisable to iron at a cool temperature. It is also important to note that this fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves transferring the ink to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure. This ensures a faithful and sharp reproduction of the printed design, and high resistance to use and washing.
