The base fabric is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, with a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, a weight of 239 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an Oak Brown, which is obtained by combining cyan ink (40), magenta (43), yellow (100), and black (31), represented by CMYK 40 43 100 31. This color represents warmth, stability, and resistance, symbolizing security, comfort, and trust. Oak brown pairs very well with tones such as beige, gray, olive green, and orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side. The fabric texture is soft and elastic to the touch, making it very comfortable and suitable for clothing.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric, its softness and elasticity make it very versatile, allowing it to be used for making a wide variety of garments, for both women and men, such as lingerie, pajamas, sweaters, cardigans, dresses, tops, among others. Likewise, its resistance and weight make it suitable for making blankets for the living room and bedroom, as well as napkins for the dining room.
The care instructions for this fabric are as follows: avoid bleaching, wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring an image or design to the fabric by heating the printed inks so that they become gaseous and then fix onto the fabric surface. The result is a smooth and durable finish that does not fade over time.
