The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit Fabric - Athens boasts a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is printed with a low-value corn yellow in Cyan and Magenta but with a high value in Yellow, with a CMYK of 4 3 53 0. This color, symbolizing light and sun, is warm and cheerful, ideal for use in the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons. It pairs very well with olive greens, sky blues, and lilac violets. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the image is printed directly onto the fabric fibers and is not a dyed fabric.
The fabrics texture is soft and elastic, making it pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear. The printed yellow color adds a touch of brightness and vitality, making it ideal for use in pajamas, tops, knitwear, dresses, scarves, socks, blankets for bedrooms or living rooms, napkins, and a variety of accessories. Additionally, the fabric can be dry-cleaned, although the use of trichloroethylene is not recommended.
It is important to consider the care instructions specified by the supplier, as this is a knit fabric with elastane components, and certain thermal and chemical treatments can affect the integrity of the fabric and its elasticity. Therefore, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and not to subject it to temperatures above 30ºC during washing. Additionally, it should be ironed at low temperatures and not tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this case is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring images by sublimating the ink pigment into the fabric fibers. This printing method is very effective in fixing the color to the fabric and allows for high image quality even on knit fabrics.
