The base fabric for this description is Jersey Knit with Cotton Feel - Athens, in a solid printed color of Medium Orchid Purple with a CMYK of 33 56 16 2. This secondary tone, which can be described as a combination of purple and light pink, is highly symbolic and evokes feelings of femininity, sweetness, and elegance. In technical terms, the ink used in printing is a combination of 33% cyan, 56% magenta, 16% yellow, and 2% black. It pairs well with pastel tones, grays, and deep blues.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. The base fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, making it ideal for knitted garments such as tops, cardigans, sweaters, and dresses. It has a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Additionally, it is resistant to daily use and repeated washing.
The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse, ranging from lingerie and pajamas to living room and bedroom blankets. It can also be used to create accessories such as socks, scarves, and stoles. The fabric is especially suitable for womens garments, but can also be used for mens and childrens clothing.
To care for the fabric, it is recommended to wash it by hand or in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid bleaching, and do not tumble dry. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used is polyester-based sublimation. This digital textile printing process allows the impregnating ink to be transferred to the fabric with a high degree of color fidelity and image sharpness, resulting in a high-quality and durable finish. The printing is done on one side of the fabric without affecting the opposite surface, meaning that the fabric is printed, not dyed.
