The base fabric, Cotton-Touch Jersey Knit - Atenas, has a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Jay Blue, with a CMYK of 95 60 28 13. This color symbolizes freedom and life, and technically and aesthetically it combines well with neutral, brown, or gray tones, adding a touch of freshness. The fabric is digitally printed on one side, and it is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed.
The base fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, making it suitable for comfortable clothing that adapts to the body. Due to its seasonality, it is ideal for winter and autumn garments and is very versatile in its applications and uses. In addition to the applications and uses already mentioned, it is also suitable for childrens clothing and accessories such as scarves or socks.
Care instructions for this fabric include: do not use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, do not tumble dry, iron at a cool temperature, and dry cleanable except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for this type of fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique is used for materials that cannot be conventionally dyed, as is the case with this type of fabric. It involves the transfer of liquid ink into a gaseous form, which adheres to the fabric thanks to the high temperature and pressure exerted by the heat press. The result is an intense and durable color that does not lose its brilliance with washing or the passage of time.
