The base fabric, Cotton-Touch Jersey Knit - Atenas, features a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Angel Blue, whose ink attributes of Cyan 36, Magenta 23, Yellow 4, and Black 0, are reflected in a deep blue finish with a touch of luminosity.
This secondary tone is associated with the sky and the sea, evoking a feeling of calm and serenity, but also of trust, strength, and stability. It combines perfectly with light tones such as white or gray, but also with other deep colors such as dark green and purple.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side with high precision.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric has a soft and elastic feel, allowing great versatility in its use. Its applications and uses range from lingerie and pajamas to knitwear, dresses, or accessories such as socks, scarves, or shawls. In addition, it is also suitable for making blankets for both the living room and the bedroom, as well as napkins for the dining room.
Regarding its care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C, do not bleach, and iron at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is acceptable, except with trichloroethylene, while tumble drying is not allowed.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transforming the ink into a gaseous state so that it penetrates the fibers through heat and pressure, allowing great colorfastness and a sharp impression on the fabric.
