The base fabric is Jersey Knit with a Cotton Feel - Atenas, composed of 81% POLYESTER, 15% ACRYLIC, 4% ELASTANE, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a vibrant Spicy Pepper Red, with a CMYK content of 17 100 100 7. It is a warm and bold color that conveys passion and energy. It combines perfectly with earthy and neutral tones, such as white, grey, and beige. The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, which allows for exceptional quality and definition in the print.
Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric stands out for its soft and elastic texture, making it very comfortable to the touch and perfect for fitted garments. The printed solid color has great resistance to wear and fading, thanks to sublimation technology. Furthermore, among the attributes of the base fabric, its numerous applications stand out, from lingerie and pajamas to fashion garments such as jerseys, tops, dresses, and accessories like scarves, socks, and shawls. It is also suitable for home textiles, such as blankets and napkins. Childrens knitwear and blankets are other frequent uses of the fabric.
It is important to highlight the care this fabric requires to maintain its quality. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and not to tumble dry. Additionally, dry cleaning is permitted except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying a printed transfer with the design on a polyester substrate, which is transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. In this way, vibrant and defined colors are achieved, with great resistance to fading and wear.
