Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is the Roma Elastic Knit - Lyon, a knit fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its plain printed color is platinum gray, with a Cyan ink of 15, Magenta of 7, Yellow of 12, and Black of 0, resulting in a CMYK of 15 7 12 0. This color presents as a soft, autumnal tone, with nuances that evoke the luminosity and shine of precious metals. It combines perfectly with warm and neutral colors, such as browns and creams, as well as with darker and deeper colors, such as black and navy blue. The fabric is printed with this plain color on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring high quality and sharpness in the printed image.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness and pleasant texture to the touch. In addition, it is very elastic and resistant, which makes it ideal for knitwear and fashion clothing in general. Regarding its application and use, it is especially recommended for making womens and mens garments, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. It can also be used for making home textiles, such as dining napkins.

It is important to consider the necessary care to prolong the lifespan of the base fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, subject it to dry cleaning that does not use trichloroethylene, iron it at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.

As for the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric, it is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality and durable printing thanks to the ink being fixed into the fabric fibers instead of merely added to its surface, preventing it from fading or wearing out with use.
