The base fabric is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon, composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a combination of white and linen, with a cyan ink content of 5, magenta of 12, yellow of 11, and black of 0, indicating a muted and warm tone. It is a color that combines well with earthy tones, browns, and dark greens.
It is worth noting that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but printed. This technique allows for high precision in design reproduction and enables printing complex patterns and intricate details on the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its soft and elastic texture. The fabric has a great capacity to adapt to the body, which makes it ideal for fitted garments or those with tight cuts. The plain printed color has an opaque and matte finish, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look.
The base fabric is suitable for a wide variety of applications and uses, such as knitwear, tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, sweaters, and napkins. Its elasticity makes it ideal for fitted and comfortable garments. Additionally, its high quality and durability make it suitable for home use.
It is important to consider the care this fabric requires to maintain its properties and characteristics. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, it can be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which consists of transferring a printed image to a surface using heat and pressure. This technique allows for high-quality printing on synthetic fabrics and a wide variety of designs and patterns.
