Elastic Roma Knit - Lyon

The base fabric is Ponte Roma Elastic - Lyon, a knit fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid color printed in Raw and Tan has a CMYK content of 15 20 36 2, and has a soft texture to the touch. This secondary color is perfect to combine with nude, beige, brown and gray tones.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which makes it more resistant to washing than a dyed fabric. The base fabric and the printed solid color have great durability and wear resistance.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, its elasticity and softness allow its use in tight and comfortable garments. The applications and uses of this fabric include its use in fashion for both women and men, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses and sweaters. In addition, it is also used in home textiles, specifically in napkins for the dining room.

It is important to consider the care of the fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at low temperature, ironing at low temperature and avoiding the use of the dryer. In addition, dry cleaning is allowed, but not with trichloroethylene.

Finally, the fabric is manufactured with sublimation printing technology (polyester), which allows intense and durable coloring despite washing and use. This printing technique is carried out through the application of heat and pressure on transfer paper containing the ink, so that the ink sublimates in the form of gas and penetrates the fiber of the fabric, guaranteeing exceptional image quality and precision.
